21 Feb New studio furniture
Not being able to get into the studio for a month got me planning how I could improve my working environment. It reminds me of a book I read a couple of years ago called ‘Geography of Home’ by Akiko Busch.
I was able to get back in the studio at the weekend. I have been working on an oil painting version of the self-portrait with Athene. It’s not going too well so I have scrapped it for the time being.
I had a tidy up on Sunday (always good to clear the mind) after taking delivery of a couple of antique 1950’s oak roller shutter tambour cabinets I found on Ebay (pictured here). It’s great to store away all the messy stuff. Now feeling cosy and organised; ready for a fresh start.
